PAY NEGOTIATIONS

The Retail Company Council along with the Regional Organiser met with the company to discuss the October 2007 pay deal.The RMT presented our submission,but the company advised us that this was an early pay meeting,and the company was not in a position to make a % offer at this meeting. It was discussed that the individual grades would split up into seperate sub groups to try and achieve the reduction of the working week to a possible 35 hour per week. The Regional Organiser has written to the company to arrange for further meetings to discuss the October 2007 pay deal. We will keep you advised further on progress on this.
