Well to advise you all that Brian Woods (Retail Company Council Rep) will be leaving on Friday 24th April 2009 after serving some 47 years with the Company (SWT) and a member of this Union for around 38 Years for both the NUR/RMT, and he has also been a long serving activist for the NUR (National of Railwaymen and now the RMT,he has represented many members over the years and he is now going to put his feet up after a long spell in putting a lot of time an effort into his duties as a activist.
Brian will be missed but never forgotten,because experienced Reps like Brian don't come along very often.
Brian is a down to earth person and allways says things as they are,he will be missed within this Union organisation,and knowing Brian he will appear some where.....
A leaving party for Brian is going to be arranged within the month of May so that his Friends that he has worked with over the years past and present can come along and wish him all the luck in his early retirement.
