South West Trains Ticket Offices

Circular No. NP/067/10/MC 24rd March 2010 TO: ALL BRANCHES, REGIONAL ORGANISERS, REGIONAL COUNCILS, & COUNCIL OF EXECUTIVES. Dear Colleagues, South West Trains Ticket Offices RMT, in a joint letter with the Campaign for Better Transport, strongly opposed the South West Trains proposal to reduce the opening hours of ticket offices at 24 stations.
This letter was sent to Passenger Focus requesting that it lodges a formal objection to the proposals. In addition, a circular was send out to all South West Trains activists and reps which included a template letter for their use in writing individually.
The template letter was also sent to SERTUC along with a message requesting their support, which SERTUC delivered.
Please find attached the joint letter from RMT, the Campaign for Better Transport and other organisations.
