On Thursday, 10/06/2010, Company Council Reps met with SWT Management to discuss the latest round of job cuts. A review was taken of Periods 6 & 7 against Periods 11 & 12 to establish the impact that PAYG was having at the following stations:
Clapham Junction, Earlsfield, Feltham, Kingston, New Malden Norbiton, Putney, Raynes Park, Richmond, Surbiton, Teddington, Twickenham, Vauxhall, Waterloo, Wimbledon, Worcester Park. Data was presented, and as a result of this, a "review" of posts is to be made as follows...
- Waterloo: Establishment FT 32 PT 22, Actual FT 29 PT 19, Proposed FT 27 PT 20
- Vauxhall: Establishment FT 3 PT 2, Actual FT 4 PT 1, Proposed FT 3 PT 1
- Clapham Jct: Establishment FT 8 PT 10, Actual FT 8 PT 10, Proposed FT 8 PT 7
- Earlsfield: Establishment FT 4 PT 1, Actual FT 4 PT 1, Proposed FT 3 PT 1
- Wimbledon: Establishment FT 8 PT 7, Actual FT 7 PT 8, Proposed FT 7 PT 7
- Surbiton: Establishment FT 5 PT 5, Actual FT 5 PT 5, Proposed FT 5 PT 4
- Putney: Establishment: FT 5 PT 0, Actual FT 5 PT 0, Proposed FT 2 PT 3
- Richmond: Establishment: FT 9 PT 3, Actual FT 9 PT 4, Proposed FT 9 PT 1
A further meeting to discuss the principles of the changes will occur on 29th June, in order to give Company Council a chance to get a general idea of the reaction from the staff concerned. Company Council reps will be visiting the affected stations on Monday 14th, Tuesday 15th and Wednesday 16th to collect information from the staff concerned. It is envisaged that the timescales involved are as follows... Consultation with Trade Unions... June 2010 Preparation of revised Rosters... June 2010 Discussions with LDC (revised working arrangements including rosters)... June/July 2010 New Rosters implemented... July 2010
We will, of course oppose these unnecessary cuts all the way

The RMT members are pussies, as last year you had the chance to do something instead you allowed 500 job cuts.
Thank goodness I am in a different Union.
