OCTOBER 2007 PAY TALKS (Update)
Following the seperate meetings in the relevant sub groups in the Retail grade groups to discuss various options to try and achieve the reduction of the working week for all Grades,the Company Council Reps along with the Regional Organiser will now meet with the Directors on the 04th and 05th October to discuss the findings of the sub groups and also discuss the recent pay offer made by the Company which is a percentage of 4%. The Negotiating team who have been discussing the reduction of the working week for the Fleet Grades will meet with the Company on the 16th and 17th October to discuss both the Pay offer and the findings of the sub groups for the reduction of the working week. Although the sub groups for the General Grades have met with the Company to discuss the findings to try and reduce the working week,but at time of posting this we have not yet got a date arranged to meet with the Company to discuss both the percentage pay and the findings of the sub groups in relation to the reduced working week.More information on dates of these meetings will be posted as soon as they are known. This percentage pay offer applies to all grade groups across the company,and the RMT Negotiating Teams for all our Grade Groups have made it clear to the Company that if any other group of Grades gets a higher percentage pay offer then we will be re-entering further negotiations to receive the same.
