To advise all that the Regional Organiser along with the Full Company Council Representatives met with SWT Company Directors to discuss the issue of the SWT Pass for staff that retire earlier than the normal retirement age.
A discussion took place where all the 3 Trade Unions raised points in relation to this issue, and the Company responded that they would look at the issue of staff that leave the Company on Ill Health grounds and will respond to the Full Time Officials on this.
In relation to the other reasons for staff who leave on early retirement/Redundancy etc this issue of request for the pass was declined by the Company.
